My paintings are faith based. The Cow paintings represent local ranches or requests. They all tell a story. It's a great joy to me when they connect with you. God Bless!
Ask if you want something.
I'd be happy to.
This longhorn is my favorite. I really like the composition, color, and scale. A very nice family gave this piece a home but I could always paint you a sister!
Bulls & Lions
This piece represents CHOICE that we've been blessed with. Stay true to your faith and you can move mountains. Choose poorly and fall victim to your choices. 12X24 September 2023
Three Calves
I got the commission to paint Three Calves at the Arts & Craft Fair at the First Nazarene Church. It turned out great even though in reality the woods were really dark. 12X24
Three Calves
I'm pleased to bring joy to peoples lives through God's gifts. BTW - that's 1800 lbs of hay hanging off the back of that truck. Cowboy up!. 12X24
White Buffalo 18X24
Robin asked me to paint her a White Buffalo. I liked the scale, however, I made the eye about 4X larger than an actual bison eye. Seems just right!
4 Tenors 30X40
This piece feels STRONG to me. Each bull represents a different phase in life, in responsibility, in growth. I felt extremely connected to the gentleman who now owns this piece. God Bless. 12X24 September 2023
Bison Migration
A quiet piece with soft colors. One is so alone, but not. 12x24 September 2023
Longhorn Bull in the Wood
Another McEntire Farms Longhorn Bull. I was commissioned to paint 4 paintings of longhorns. 30 August 2023
Longhorn Calf Peeping
It's fall and the longhorn are growing. 28 August 2023
Mother & Daughter
Man ! They grow up fast! Baby's almost as big as mom. 13 July 2023
Ranger and Praying Cowboy
The burned out building is outside of Seymour, Texas. The fields had just been cut and the cowboy gives thanks to our maker.
Ranger, Praying Cowboy, and Sarge
You've seen this painting before. A friend bought the painting and asked me to paint in his dog Sarge. Of course, it's my honor.
The Highlander
The Highlander looking over the range.
Highlander 2
The Highlander with his chickens and Lil Green tractor. I admit the one chicken (bottom R) is pretty scary.
Ranger Hiding in the Sunflowers
The barn in the painting is awesome. I love the flag, the longhorn, and the sunflowers.
Ranger and the Tractor
My first attempt at painting a tractor. I even snuck in a cameo appearance of my red truck in the barn.
Ranger Drive
This painting was as complicated as it was a joy! So stately, so many legs. Later, I added a barn and windmill.
Red Ranger
Robin thinks that Red Ranger is a little too happy and wanted me draw in some straw.
Ranger and Friends
We stopped along TX HWY 36 to take a picture of these longhorns. Not too many left as it makes more money to raise different cattle. But these beauties are raised just because they're beautiful and for what they mean to Texas.
Ranger Series 6
I painted a series of Longhorn, barn, and windmill on 12x24 with barnwood frames. For me, the pictures don't do the paintings justice. I'm in love.
A Calf Hiding in the Sunflowers
I was wondering if the sunflowers were appropriate. Wrong time of year I think. Buckboard is cool.
Long Winter
Momma Longhorn protecting her calf. Life on the range.
Longhorn with Calf
This painting hangs in our dining room. We really like the colors and expressions.
Ranger 2
There is a lot of color in the West. Robin pointed out to me however, that there are not too many cherry trees on Ranger Hill. Hmmm... but I like it?! I like incongruent.
Longhorn Tall Grass
He really is this color! Wow! Just amazing. Hangs in lil Qs room. He's a great kid.
Ranger Series 4 - Ranger Collection
I love the door! I want that door!
Ranger the Bunny
This piece was a doodle as I was camping by Lake Belton, Texas - the Live Oak Ridge State Park.
Ranger Humor
My friend at church asked me to paint these guys. I know that they're popular, so I Webb'd them up a little bit. He's happy so I'm happy.
